S. Jugnoo Kazmi
After working for a litigation set in Islamabad and briefly as a Legal Consultant in-house, Ms. Kazmi joined the Supreme Court of Pakistan as a Law Clerk to an Honourable Judge. At present, she is working for Justice Project Pakistan which fights for the rights of vulnerable prisoners facing the harshest punishments. Ms. Kazmi has also been appointed as state counsel and defence counsel on state expense in jail appeals by an Honourable Judge of the Islamabad High Court. She leads the Women in Law Initiative’s Islamabad chapter which works towards ensuring fair representation and equality of opportunity of female lawyers in the legal profession. Additionally, Ms. Kazmi teaches in two law schools in Islamabad.
