Farah Khan

I have graduated from Hamdard School of Law in 2014 and have started practising as a criminal lawyer under the mentorship of Mr Ilyas Khan, I have been practising for the past 7 years now. I have earned a Master’s Degree in Criminology from the University of Karachi. I have been teaching Criminal Law and Procedural Law at Hamdard School of law. I have worked with various organizations on different aspects of criminal law and reforms, I have been part of the research team of the United Nations working on the reforms in Anti-Narcotics and Anti-terrorism laws in Pakistan. I have participated in training sessions held by GIZ as a trainer to the Sindh Police on Investigation techniques, the importance of Forensic evidence and the collection of Forensic evidence and have authored training manuals for GIZ. I am working with ICRC as a Senior Research Associate to bring legislative reforms in Sindh regarding the protection of healthcare workers and improvements in legislation in this area. I have co-authored a book on Forensic law and practice in Pakistan published under the name "Medico-legal digest". I am currently serving as the Special Prosecutor for the National Accountability Bureau of Pakistan.
